The event, which is traditionally held every year and is held for the orientation of new students to our department, was held on 19.10.2023. In the meeting held with the participation of Mechanical Engineering Department Head Prof. Dr. İhsan DAĞTEKİN, Department Vice Presidents and faculty members as well as Engineering Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ebru AKPINAR, faculty members provided information to the students about department introduction, program introduction, communities and projects. Engineering Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ebru AKPINAR informed the students about our department's place among other engineering departments, double major and minor programs. After the refreshments, the tree planting ceremony, which is traditionally held every year, began. The event ended after the commemorative sapling planted together.
